pct-scanner-scripts software package provides scan and create merged DjVu and PDF documents for archiving, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pct-scanner-scripts
pct-scanner-scripts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pct-scanner-scripts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pct-scanner-scripts *
You will get with pct-scanner-scripts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
